LOVE & DIRTS
It was a different kind of street party on the 14th of February 2018 as we shared the love day with over a hundred Lawma Road Sweepers & Lastma Officials who risk their lives daily, tirelessly cleaning our roads, streets and control the traffic, in the sun & in the rain.
We toured the Ikorodu road, Maryland-Mobolaji Bank Anthony axis, Allen-Ikeja and 3rd mainland. Gifts of Raw food e.g Beans, Rice, Garri, Spaghetti, Yam, Bread and Beautiful Ankara was distributed to these individuals.
It was a beautiful day, as the workers were excited to receive the gift of love.
I LOVE OLD PEOPLE
For us at Epicentre Events, the 14th of February 2019 was a special day. The team showed loved by celebrating the senior citizens/Old people, at the Regina Mundi Holy Family Home for the Elderly, Mushin Lagos.
We had a beautiful breakfast table set up with an array of Breakfast meals such as Variety of Bread, Yam, Moimoi, Oats, Pap, Custard, Sausages, Eggs, Tea, Chocolate drink and so on.
After breakfast, we played various board games and got to know them better. To crown it all, the senior citizens were given branded tshirts with the words ‘I love old people’ written on it, wheel chair, knitting kit, Walkers, Crutches, Adult diapers, etc.
It was indeed an opportunity for us to appreciate the elderly in our community.
DUSTBIN VILLAGE
The children at the Dustbin Village live as the name implies in homes built on refuse dump in Ajegunle, Lagos State.
Our aim for this ‘EPIC CHRISTMAS’ was to give the Children an amazing & unforgettable Christmas Celebration. We had Music, Games, Food, Party Packs, Cakes, Clothes and so much more.
The Children, their Parents & the Community were elated at this gesture.
